Solo

Since making her concerto debut with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra at age 13, Naomi has performed with ensembles including the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Northwest (Seattle), Yale Symphony Orchestra, and Berkeley College Orchestra. In 2016-2017, she performed Prokofiev Second Piano Concerto with the CUMS Symphony Orchestra and Beethoven Piano Concerto no. 4 with the Falcon Ensemble. In 2011, her debut in Carnegie Hall was praised as an “elegant performance” in the New York Times.

Especially interested in contemporary music, Naomi recently placed second in the 2016 Eckhardt-Gramatté competition for Canadian and contemporary music, and was awarded the Prix Hélène-Roberge for the best performance of a Canadian work in 2015. 

Collaborative

.Naomi's experience as a collaborative pianist includes two sessions in the Collaborative Piano Residency at the Banff Centre, participation in the Instrumental Award Scheme at Cambridge, recordings with trumpet player Mary Bowden, and frequent work as a pianist for auditions and performances at music conservatories including the Yale School of Music, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and the Schulich School of Music. She frequently works with singers, and has studied vocal accompanying with Ted Taylor at the Yale School of Music, and with Joseph Middleton through the Pembroke Lieder Scheme.
